1-1-11
The ball has dropped and the New Year has arrived with its usual fanfare and glory. My family was here with me this year -- ages sixty seven to three months - very interesting. The abundance of food made it all the more comfortable. My usual tradition of having a large pot of water sitting in my house absorbing the last of the negative energy since midnight the night before was thrown over the deck symbolically "washing" away the old year. This year is the year for change and excitement. Those who know me know I have one theme song that I feel needs to become a constant overture of my life in this year that ends in a "One." "One Singular Sensation" from the Broadway show "A Chorus Line" has been a favorite song of mine since the revival of the revival of the revival. Since the year ends in a "One" - I will make every event and every class and every meeting "One Singular Sensation." It is through make each event "One Singular Sensation" I will not only revive lost relationships, lost loves but also the joy that was washed away with last year. Happy New Year 2011!!
