1-11-11 Be not afraid, you are on eagle's wings

Ironically, we are told that if all the numbers of the day align that day will be a magical day. First, I do not believe in magic. I believe in reality. Needless to say, today was not magical it was indeed real. The raw emotions, the never ending friendships, the incredible gathering, all of it was real and not magical.

Between the anticipation of the snowstorm and the coldness of the reality of the day, I needed to be "present" and realize the realness of my surroundings. Yesterday, I wrote about "listening" to the answers of the life's questions. I was extra careful today to be sure I listened. The message was clear. It was the proverbial "two by four" I needed. My perspective is a bit different as I write my nightly blog entry. Although my emotional nerves are heightened and slightly raw, I need to be centered. I need to realize what is important in my life and what is not important in my life. Although I listened to what I needed to listen to and actually heard what was being said, I also saw. I looked, I listened, and I saw.

The "ones" did align themselves today. Nothing magical but the lessons I learned, the sounds I heard, and the sights I saw were all real.
